In this 2018 address to Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya UK at the occasion of their National Ijtema , Hadrat Khalifatul Masih V(may Allah strengthen his hands) sheds light on why salat is necessary for spiritual life, the manner in which we must pray in order to experience pleasure in our communication with Allah, and the great purpose for which we have been born in this age.
