This is the text of an address delivered by the Head of the Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam to the effect that religions have always been revived through divine intervention. When man falls prey to materialism, God appoints a chosen one as reformer to reclaim mankind and to make man return to His ways. This has been the pattern which has marked the history of mankind.

To avoid that any difference of opinion among the Muslims create a wrong impression, the speaker enumerates those fundamental beliefs shared commonly by Muslims of all denominations. Yet Ahmadis differ from other Muslims on the interpretation of the prophecy about the promised advent of Christ. According to the Ahmadiyya interpretation such prophecies should not be taken in the literal sense. Reformers have never descended from heaven. They are rather ordinary human beings who, together with their disciples, have always preached peacefully and inspite of all persecutions have always been successful in their mission.

The Founder of the Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam also was divinely commissioned and his anchor sheet was the Holy Quran which supports the Ahmadiyya philosophy of Revival of Religions.
