The ideas contained in this volume, based as they are on the thoughts from a very deeply religious mind, are what we would have the right to expect.

They provide deep insights into how human beings in general and Ghanaians in particular, could sometimes negotiate our way across this narrow and brief passage that we call life. Yet, the volume is not a tract.

Reflections were broadcast by radio and telecast on TV first thing in the morning and last thing in the night. The aim was to give listeners and viewers guide posts on waking up for the day's work and a profound thought to ponder over before going to bed at night.

Born at Brofoyedru, a village in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, in 1938, Maulvi Dr. A. Wahab Adam was educated in both Ghana and Pakistan and obtained a Diploma in Arabic and a degree in Comparative Study of Religions, Islamic Theology, History and Jurisprudence.
