This is an inspiring story of the first female warrior in the history of Islam who not only fought at sea but was also martyred there. She had a deeply affectionate relationship with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who considered her a family member. In fact, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was foretold in a dream that she would be among those first Muslims to die at sea fighting for Islam.
